OUR STORY

I have been baking cakes with my mom since I was big enough to pull a chair up to the counter to help.

For many years hippo cakes supplied delicious cakes to friends and family. Especially my daughter and mother in law who have dietary restrictions.

After leaving my corporate job early last year I decided to expand and bring my cakes to the public.

All of my creations are hand made including the fondant, I do not buy premade products. I have come to perfect the gluten and dairy free ones as I felt it was one thing to look nice but it is a cake and should taste good too.
